Molds for Molding MIR-100 to MIR-750 Materials

The most common mediums for making molds for our micro-fiber resins are either hard composite tools (MIR-300, epoxy or fiberglass) or soft silicone tools – or a combination of both. You can even use our MIR-740, or other materials such as red-board, ABS, wood or even metal molds.

Check out our video on how to make molds quickly and easily with MIR-300.

The selection of your mold material is critical to any value proposition. It is driven by the number of parts that are required, part complexity, speed to market, required finish and the capital investment.

With MIR-1000 you also have an option to cast, inject or pour the material.

Do not hesitate to call us if you have any questions regarding your mold design or material selections.
