Molds — MIR-1000

The most common mediums for making molds for MIR-1000 are hard composite tools (MIR-300, epoxy or fiberglass) or soft silicone tools – or a combination of both. You can also use other materials such as red-board, ABS, wood or even metal molds.

Check out our video on how to make molds quickly and easily with MIR-300.

Mold selection is critical to any value proposition. It is driven by the number of parts that are required, part complexity, speed to market, required finish and capital investment.

With MIR-1000 you have an option to cast, inject or pour the material.

The finish on your parts is determined by the quality of your mold surface. If you need an 'A' Class finish you need a high quality finish on your mold.
